Mitchell Lee Dibler, passed away on February 1, 2024 at Lakeland Regional Heath Medical Center in the Palliative Care Unit at approximately 1:19 AM. He was 49 at the time of his death. He had been battling MS (Multiple Sclerosis), Congestive Heart Failure, and End Stage Renal Failure complications since July 2023. Mitchell fought hard.
Mitchell was born on May 1, 1974 in Oklahoma and resided there until 1989 when his family moved to Archer, Florida. There he met his wife, Joann Dibler at Newberry High School. Mitchell and Joann were married on June 2, 1997. They moved from Newberry, FL to Mulberry, FL. They raised 3 wonderful children Haydn (26), Austin (24), and Jewelieann (20) where he continued to reside until his death. Mitchell loved to fish with his family and friends spending lots of time at Crystal River (oh, the stories Lewis and others could tell).
Mitchell loved roller coasters and spent plenty of time at Busch Gardens and Sea World. Mitchell loved to work on cars and loved the Pixar movie Cars. He loved to collect all things Pixar Cars related. Mitchell was a kid at heart, and just knew those toys would be worth a fortune someday.
Mitchell was presided in death by his mom Nola Gray Dibler (2014), his dad Ronnie Lee Dibler (2024) and both his brothers David Greggory Dibler (2023) and Steven August Dibler (2019). Mitchell is survived by his wife of 26 years Joann Denise Dibler, his children Haydn Gray Dibler, Austin Lee Dibler, and Jewelieann Gray Dibler. Several Aunts (Leah Placke-Troutman, April Griggs, Brenda Dibler, and Theresa Marshall) as well as Uncles (David Dibler, Lewis Troutman, Jimmy Griggs, and Dwayne Marshall). As well as countless cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors and other extended family.
Memorial Service will be held on May 23, 2024 to allow most
of the family to be able to attend.
