Dottie Nesler

Preneed Specialist

Dottie came to Compassionate Cremations & Memorials with over 35 years of sales and marketing experience and over 15 years in funeral service.  Dottie’s biggest honor as a Preneed Advisor is to help families in advance of need by having their final wishes planned so that their families do not have to be concerned about making the hardest decisions during the toughest time of their life.  The best advice Dottie was ever given was to “treat people better than how you are treated, and you will be blessed”, when she meets with every Compassionate family, she will treat you as if you were a part of hers.

Kirk Emery – The Heights Workshop

Kirk originally hails from Knoxville, TN and relocated to Tampa, FL in 2010.  He started his passion with his grandfather learning the old school techniques of woodworking.   Mr. Emery joined the United States Marine Corps serving his country for 4 years and then continued to self-educate himself through hard work and dedication to his craft applying past knowledge and techniques to new projects.

Having spent many years fine-tuning his craft he moved to Tampa where he started his own business producing amazingly well crafted, creative, and beautiful projects.  His custom projects range from furniture pieces to epoxy resin river tables and anything in between.  Kirk likes introducing exotic wood with strong characteristics with other mediums like hot rolled steel giving these projects and many others, custom one-of-a-kind designs.

Kirk embraces the Tampa culture and finds unique ways to introduce that culture into his woodworking.  He has established relationships with other local vendors who harvest, mill and dry their products locally.  Kirk has also been known to acquire products from old nostalgic buildings in the Tampa bay area that are set to be renovated.  Kirk's passion for unique designs, new techniques and industrial vision gives way to many different avenues for him to pursue.
