Sean Michael Higgins

Sean Michael Higgins (27) passed away suddenly on May 21, 2022. He was born in Denville, New Jersey on December 11, 1994 and moved to St. Charles, Missouri when he was 6 weeks old. He was better known as My Man, Broverrr, Seannie, Red, Skippy, Keshawn and Baby Bird (I am sure there were others along the way).

When Sean was young he loved to hang with his sisters, didn’t matter if it was playing dress up (yes, they dressed him like a girl) or jumping and running around like a monkey. He had no fear. He loved life and played hard. He would exert so much energy that by 8:00 pm, he would put himself to bed and be out like a light. He loved playing all sports, being extremely athletic, but had a special love for baseball. He was a graduate of St. Charles High School. He had dreams of becoming an Engineer. He had a pension for never forgetting a birthday, anniversary or special date. He will always be remembered for his compassion for helping others, his love of baseball, and his love for his family, friends, and of course his “ruppy”. Anyone who knew him knew that his “Darth” Veda and Henry were number one in his eyes.

Sean was preceded in death by his grandpa, Thomas Wharton. He is survived by his Grandma’s Dee and Sonya, Grandfather Patrick(Nanny), Parents, Patrick and Theresa Higgins (nee Wharton), sisters Chelsea Flitter(Jacob), Kristy Higgins, Courtney Higgins, beautiful niece Veda Mae and handsome Henry, Aunts’ Becky and Christina, Uncles’ Bob(Kim) and David(Helen) as well as many great aunts, great uncles, and cousins.

Sean was taken from this world way too soon. He was loved by all and will be missed beyond words. Until we meet again, fly high, you are finally free.

A funeral mass will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 445 82nd Ave St., St. Pete Beach, FL 33706 on Tuesday, June 7th at 10:30 am.

A celebration of life will be held at the Ballast Pits, 2699 Woodland Yacht Club Drive, St. Charles, MO 63301 on Friday, July 8th at 2:00 pm.
