Leslie Alleyne

I am heartbroken to announce the passing of my father, Leslie Alleyne. He passed away at the age of 59, in Lakeland, FL surrounded by his loving cats. He joined the love of his life Janet. My dad enjoyed listening to music, DJing and was always cracking a joke. He was a very hard working man and loved life. He leaves behind his daughter Keisha and granddaughter Zoe.

Leslie, my dear coworker friend. My memories of you are fond. I will honor your by working hard like you worked. I will remember you in the places where we have labored together and every now and then I will refer to a tool as "this girlie here."

While you were not one for sitting around, I am glad we were able to catch a few dinners together while out traveling. I will miss your stories of the kitties. I will miss hearing the pride in your voice when you spoke of your daughter and granddaughter. I will miss you.

Be at peace,

Elaine

Uncle Leslie taught me so much on his life journey. Words can not explain how much he means to me. We have worked, laughed, and struggled together in those mean streets. You will forever be my OG. Salute, Unk! I guess this is the last goodbye.

“1Luv” ✌️🏾

Uncle Leslie,

Through it all, I truly hope you knew how much of an impact you had on peoples lives. Especially your nephew David. I’m going to miss hearing any new stories of your adventures (everything was an adventure right?), but I’m so grateful for the stories I’ve heard, the times I’ve seen you, and the lifetime of memories you’ve created with David, your sisters and brothers, nephews, nieces, lifetime friends, cousins and Ofcourse, your daughter, son in law and granddaughter. And your precious cats. This world is so convoluted. May you truly rest in power. Love, Yari Jones (David’s wife).
