February 23rd, 1935 - February 1st, 2023 Charles Francis Jaynes, aka Charlie, Chuck, Chuckie, Dad and Papa, 87, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home with his wife. He was born in Chelsea, MA, to Leonard and Mary Frances Jaynes and grew up in Maine with his brothers Lenny, Eddie, and Billy. He became a Floridian in 1968 and has been here ever since. He was a proud Marine and a racecar driver. He also worked as an award-winning Ford service manager and was an all-around sports enthusiast (both playing and watching). He was married to his wife Evelyn Jaynes for almost 51 years and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Jaynes, children Chrissy Jaynes and Craig Jaynes (Amanda), William, Charles Jr., Scott, and Julie. He also leaves behind grandchildren Christopher Springer (Hope) and Rylee Jaynes, and great grandchildren Marcus and Izzy Springer. Additionally, he is survived by his mother-in-law Hazel Frizzell, brother William "Billy" Jaynes, and his beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, and dear friends, including his favorite grand doggy, Hazy. He will be deeply missed by all those who love him. In lieu of a service and flowers, the family requests donations to K9 Partners for Patriots, Inc or your favorite charity.
