Sharon Lynn Reszka, age 85, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026.

Sharon was born on February 1, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she was raised and built a life rooted in family, kindness, and quiet strength. On October 20, 1962, she married the love of her life, Ronald Reszka, and together they shared a beautiful marriage filled with devotion, laughter, and many cherished memories.

Sharon worked as a legal secretary at a large firm in Milwaukee until her retirement. Following retirement, she and Ronald relocated to their condo in Largo, Florida, where they enjoyed the sunshine and a slower pace of life. Together, they made countless road trips to New York and Wisconsin to visit family—trips that became treasured traditions.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Nana), and great-grandmother. Sharon is survived by her husband, Ronald; her children, Lynda (Joseph) Scannell, Cheryl DeMucci, and Daniel (April) Reszka; and her beloved grandchildren, Nick (Emily), Caitlyn (Thiago Dasilva), Zach, Nina, Alexa, and Dalton. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Bexley, Beckham, Reef, and Zion.

Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Robert Reszka; her parents, Alfreida and Daniel Riley; and her brothers, Robert and Gerald Riley.

Sharon’s life was defined by her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness. She never had an unkind word to say about anyone and was known for her warm heart and caring nature. She found joy in baking—especially during the holidays, when she lovingly made countless Christmas cookies for family and friends. She also maintained an active lifestyle and was an avid fitness enthusiast for many years. She even celebrated a memorable hole-in-one on the golf course where she and Ronald lived.

Although it was difficult to witness her battle with dementia in her later years, her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers at Palm Gardens of Largo for their care and support.

Sharon’s family will be hosting a celebration of life in Wisconsin later this year. Details will be shared when they become available.

Sharon will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
