Obituary

In Loving Memory of Philip Alfonso

Philip Alfonso, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 3rd of this year, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the heart and soul of our family—a man whose presence could fill a room and whose love ran deeper than words could ever express.

Known for his unmatched charisma and booming voice, he was the loudest in the room—and proud of it. His laughter was contagious, his jokes unforgettable, and his energy magnetic. Whether he was cracking jokes, cheering on his favorite wrestlers, or tapping out rhythms on the drums, he brought joy and life to every moment.

He was a lifelong music lover, a skilled drummer, and a man who could find rhythm in anything—from a table to a tin can. But more than that, he was a rock for his family. A devoted husband, a protective and loving father, an adoring grandfather and great-grandfather—he showed up, every time. He’d give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. His generosity knew no bounds.

A hard worker by nature and a family man by heart, he left behind a legacy of strength, love, and unwavering support. To know him was to be loved loudly—and to laugh often.

Philip is preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Alfonso, to whom he married on May 14, 1987 in Largo, Florida.

Philip is survived by his daughters, Christina Alfonso and Diana Siu; grand children, Anthony, Shaionnah, Allanah, Josiah, Aiyannah, and Jayonni; as well as his great grandchildren, Alijah and Azaiah.

Psalm 23:4
“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

Though he may no longer be with us in body, his voice, laughter, and love will echo in our hearts forever.
His spirit lives on in the stories we tell, the music we hear, and the love we pass on.
