Obituary

Joshua Richard Chubb (49) of Tampa, Florida, passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, March 1, 2026. Josh was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on June 23, 1976, and later moved with his family to Florida. He graduated from John I. Leonard High School in West Palm Beach, Florida. Josh then earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both Chemistry and Physics from Florida Atlantic University.

Josh spent most of his life working in the private jet industry and, in his personal life, always enjoyed music, football, and spending time with family and friends. His daughter, Kennedy, was his pride and joy. Josh will be fondly remembered for his big heart, his playful sense of humor, and his deep love for God and others.

Josh was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Chubb, Jr., his grandmother, Anna Hepler, and his grandfather, Kenneth Chubb, Sr.

He is survived by his daughter, Kennedy (Chubb) Hartmann of Lakeland, Florida; mother, Julie Keeth of Knoxville, Tennessee; brother, Rory (Gigi) Naeve of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; grandfather, Richard Hepler; grandmother, Gay Chubb; aunt, Cindy (Scott) Fullwood; uncle, Tim (Leza) Hepler; uncle, Dave (Carol) Chubb; uncle, Mike Chubb; and a host of extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

There will be a graveside memorial at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. On a later date, there will be an additional graveside memorial at Hillsdale Cemetery in Middletown, Pennsylvania.
