He is survived by; Pam and furbaby “Mandee”, brother Roger (Joan) and sister Marian Jane Lachance. 2 sons; John Jr, and Clayton, step-son Todd Bates. Grandchildren; Timothy (Tori), Anthony (Rachel), Noah and step-granddaughter, Magnolia Bate. Great grandchildren; Ellie, Bennet and Lydia. Niece; Laurel. Nephew; Scott

He was president of Breezemaker Industrial Fan Co. and was known as “The Fan Man” to many businesses. They provided wind for the Olympic Games in Atlanta, and the movie “Twister”. Warehouses and Disney parks were kept cool with specially made fans.
