Obituary

Flor Gurri 97, passed away on June 22, 2026. Flor was born in Cuba and lived most of her adult life in Tampa, Fl.

She is survived by two daughters, Arlene Perez and Gail Valentin, one granddaughter, Elisa Valentin. She also leaves behind one brother, Santiago Garrido and several nieces, grand-nieces and nephews.

Flor was retired from St. Joseph Hospital. She spent 35 years working and loving to talk about the doctors and nurses she worked with. She loved tending garden, listening to music and reciting poems. She also loved watching Cuban soap operas. Her greatest love was family and helping other people.
