In Loving Memory of our mother, Donna Gibson

Donna Gibson was, above all else, a devoted grandmother, mother, and wife. Her greatest joy in life came from time spent with her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. Known for her generous heart and playful spirit, she never missed an opportunity to spoil them with thoughtful gifts, sweet surprises, and an abundance of love. One of her favorite sayings, “What happens at Nana’s stays at Nana’s,” perfectly captured the special bond she shared with them.

Donna’s love extended deeply to her two children, Jamie and Jimmie. She was fiercely devoted to them, always present and engaged in their lives. Whether it meant driving countless hours to gymnastics meets or baseball games, she did it all with joy and without hesitation—not out of obligation, but out of genuine love and pride. Her selflessness and unwavering support defined her role as a mother and left an indelible mark on her children’s lives.

The final year of Donna’s life brought immense challenges. She endured the passing of her beloved husband, the loss of her home, and the loss of nearly all her personal belongings— trials that would have overwhelmed many. Yet, through it all, she showed incredible strength and grace. It is the heartfelt hope of her family that in her final days, she felt deeply the love that surrounded her and knew how profoundly she was cherished.

Donna exemplified compassion and resilience. As a devoted wife, she spent the last five years of her husband’s life by his side, providing care and comfort through his serious medical challenges. Even while facing her own health struggles, she remained steadfast in her commitment to him, offering a powerful testament to her strength of character and capacity for love.

Donna Gibson will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved. Her legacy
