Obituary

Brad Jason Bechtel of Tampa, Florida sadly left us on May 31st, 2025. He was brought into this world at Hardin Memorial Hospital of Kenton, Ohio on March 24th, 1974, by his parents, Greg Bechtel and Judy Bechtel.

He was preceded in death by his late mother, Judy Bechtel and Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, Sam and Ruth, Benny and Elsie. He is survived by Greg Bechtel (Father), Mark Bechtel (Brother), Jill Carnevale (Sister), Tyler Bechtel (Son). He is also survived by Courtney Carnevale-Russell (Niece), Lexi Bechtel (Gibbons)(Niece), Keirston Carnevale (Niece), Logan Carnevale (Nephew), Lukas Stricker (Great Nephew), Amelia Stricker (Great Niece).

Brad may have lost the battle with cruel cancer but that never let him down in spirit with his family and friends. He continued to bring his light and laughter to everyone he was in touch with. Brad is now in a better place of never-ending happiness and free of the suffering and hardship on his mind and body. Brad had a love of golf, music and in his later moments a green thumb. He also had a secret love of sketching and drawing. He was always the first to crack a joke and bring the spirit of laughter to the room.

Brad will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
Brad, you will be forever loved and missed and, in our hearts, and minds forever.
May you rest in the peace you deserve forever.

There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, June 14th at 3 PM. The location of this celebration will be at the home of Greg Bechtel (Father),
at 1028 Sawyers Court, Lutz, FL, 33559.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking to send donations in honor of Brad Jason Bechtel to Moffitt Cancer Center.
