Jessica Barr, age 44, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of her daughter and mother.

Jessica lived life with an adventurous spirit and an open heart. She was outgoing, fearless, determined, and never met a stranger. Her infectious smile, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humor made it easy for her to form lasting friendships wherever she went.

She found happiness in the beauty of the ocean, the wonder of dolphins, music that made her want to dance, and the arts. She loved movies and had an incredible talent for remembering her favorite scenes and lines by heart, often making those around her laugh.

More than anything, Jessica loved her daughter. She was endlessly proud of her and treasured every moment they shared. Her love for family was constant, and those who knew her will remember her beautiful heart, adventurous soul, and the joy she brought into their lives.

Jessica is survived by her beloved daughter; her mother; two sisters; one brother; several nephews; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A memorial service celebrating Jessica’s life will be held at a future date in her home state of Georgia, allowing family and friends the opportunity to gather and honor her memory.
