Ronnie Lee Dibler passed away on December 22, 2022, at James A. Haley Memorial Hospital in the hospice unit, after battling a very aggressive cancer of the head, neck, and throat. A final salute was held at the hospice unit at approximately 7 p.m. in his honor. He was 73. Ronnie served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, from 1969 to 1976. Upon his return, he worked at a local Ford dealership in Oklahoma. His family moved from Oklahoma to Florida in January 1989. He continued to work at Ford dealerships throughout his life, his career culminating with Jarrett Scott Ford in Plant City, Florida. Ron loved Ford, and he would never own anything but a Ford. In his spare time, Ron searched for odd parts at local junk yards. He always worked on cars and thoroughly enjoyed caring for his vehicles. In June 2000, Ron and his family moved to Mulberry where he resided until his death. Neighbors say you could regularly see him walking his dog, Bugg, both day and night. Bugg was never far from Ronnie, and he loved that dog dearly. Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Nola, in January 2014 and his youngest son, Steven August, in March 2019. Ron is survived by his two sons, David Greggory (Janet) and Mitchell Lee (Joann), his grandchildren, Derrick, Brandon, Corwin, Ronald (Nicki), Haydn, Austin, Jewelieann, Justin, Samuel, and Lamuel. Ron is also survived by his brother, David, and his sister, Theresa. They will all cherish their memories with him and honor his memory. Services will be held in May to allow most of his family to attend. Donations or Flowers can be sent to 4742 Myrtle View Dr S, Mulberry, FL 33860.
