Linda Rea Antcliff Hanger

Linda Rea Antcliff Hanger, 80 years of age, passed quickly on February 18, 2023. God, family, friends, traveling worldwide, counseling, volunteering, and living life fully, were her joys, touching many lives. She is very loved and will be missed. Survived by her children; Craig Hanger (Teresa); Janel Astorquiza; Dawn Silvestre (Michael Wyllie); and seven grandchildren; Ansley Hanger, Jordan Hanger (Lauren), Ryan Astorquiza, Desiree Astorquiza, Evan Astorquiza, Enrique Silvestre, Angel Astorquiza, and three great grandchildren.


Linda was an only child born in Belding Michigan, her parents John Benjamin (J.B.) and Martha Irene Fetterly Antcliff.


Linda married her only love Dallas Hanger. During their marriage she lived in the Virgin Island till the birth of her first child. Returning to Florida where they had three children.


Linda worked 15 years for University of South Florida clinic / UMSA, retiring in 2009. Prior to retiring she went back to college at Life Christian University (LCU), getting an AA degree in Christian Counseling, shortly after a bachelor’s degree in Christian Group Counseling in 2012. She was currently involved with Embrace Grace for pregnant women. She was an active volunteer with the Children’s Cancer Center, with 20 years of service. Thru out her Christian life, Mom had always been active with the church, volunteered with the youth ministry, women’s ministry, children ministry, special occasions, prayer group and older singles group.


She loved God, family, and friends dearly. Her other passion was travelling, visited almost every state but two (Puerto Rico & North Dakota) in the USA, and a several countries abroad. Mom excepted Christ into her heart in early adulthood and continued to be a faithful Christian for 50 yrs. She will be remembered as a faithful mother, friend, with a commitment to serving God and other throughout her life.


A memorial service will be held on February 28, 2023, at 3 pm., Location: River of Life Church, 410 E. Chapman Rd. Lutz, Fla.
