Joseph ‘Panda’ Vongvilath, 37, of Tampa Bay and formerly of North Carolina, died June 24 at St. Joseph’s Hospital- North. Joseph was born July 8, 1986. Joseph truly had a spirit of love and compassion. He spread love and light everywhere he went. Joseph made friends with everyone he met and always gave everyone a nickname out of love. His spirit of generosity and kindness will be missed by all. Joe is survived by two sisters, Ann Chay Inthalasy of New Bern, NC, and Amy Lane of Charlotte, NC; one brother Somprathana Vongvilath of Kissimmee, FL and his parents, John Vongvilath and Yong Vongvilath of North Carolina. Proceeded in death, his sister Theresa Vongvilath Barrett.

Service will be held on July 20, 2024 at 11 a.m.

Compassion Cremations and Memorials, (Rose Lake Plaza)

He will be buried at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
