Joseph Aviles Lopez, born August 26, 1968 in Brooklyn, New York and died on November 8, 2024 in Tampa, Florida.
Joseph is survived by his mother, Rufina and stepfather, Pedro, two sons, Joey and Joseph, one daughter, Princess, six grandchildren, Caden, Halo, Angel, Isaias, Josue and Felix, seven siblings, Luis, Daisy, Abel, Amilcar, Melinda, Rosalie and Orlando and 23 nieces and nephew.
Joseph grew up in Lajas, Puerto Rico, later moved to Mayagüez, Puerto Rico before moving to Tampa, Florida to live with his son Joey and Joey’s family.
Joseph was a kind soul who loved his children, family, country and our Lord Jesus Christ. Joseph did not have much but what he did have, he cherished. He made sure everything was “just right” and kept clean. Joseph’s childhood dream was to be in the army but life took him in a different direction. Although Joseph never served in the army, his pride showed through in his everyday clothing of army colors. Joseph loved listening to music and hanging out, especially with his son, Joey.
