Jonathan W. Erb, 63 of Temple Terrace, FL passed away on October 15th, 2022, after
a lengthy decline in health. Jonathan was born in Upstate NY, raised by parents Walter
and Martha Erb. In his late teens, he moved to the Tampa Bay Area. He earned an
Associate degree in Accounting from Hillsborough Community College. Jonathan was
an avid reader, and in younger years an enthusiastic fan of the NY Mets who enjoyed
attending their games. He had been employed with Omnicare of Tampa, FL and
thoroughly enjoyed his work. Preceded in death by both parents. Surviving him, his
siblings Karl (Gail) Erb, of Mayville, NY, his sister Rosemarie Steiner, of Temple,
Terrace, FL and Erik Erb, of Tampa, FL, nephews Henry Bentroth and Geoffrey Steiner
Jr. and nieces Julie Erb, Erika Erb, and Keri Erb. A private family service will be held at
the convenience of the family in Upstate NY next Spring. Memorial donations may be
mailed to Melech Hospice House at 11125 N 52nd St, Temple Terrace, FL 33617 or to
a charity of one’s choice.
