It is with broken hearts and infinite sadness, that we, the family of Irene McQuillen Russo share the news that Irene has started her journey to the light of God. We said goodbye to her on October 20, 2021, with deep sorrow.
Irene, 78 years of age was born on February 13, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Tampa, Florida in 1991.
Irene has joined her husband James Russo, father John McQuillen, mother Gertrude McQuillen, father-in-law Rudolph Russo, Sr., mother-in-law Ann Russo and brothers-in-law John Yowell, John Russo and Rudolph Russo, Jr. who passed before her.
Irene's passing is deeply mourned by her sisters Rita O'Brien and Mary Yowell; sons James Russo and Michael Russo; daughter Dianne Russo; daughter-in-law Susan Russo; grandson Christopher Russo and his wife Miridiana Russo, granddaughter Vanessa Russo; great-grandson Nicholas Russo, brothers-in-law Martin O'Brien, John Binckes and Chuck Falzone; sisters-in-law Pat Russo, Laura Binckes and Victoria Falzone; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
And although this emptiness today is unfathomable and the pain is deep and overwhelms the soul, we also thank God for taking you in His loving arms and granting you His peace. We love and miss you. See you on the other side. A memorial service / celebration of life for Irene will be set and will be private.
