Douglas (Doug) Morse Skelley, born January 25, 1964, passed away on November 5, 2021. Formerly of Avon, CT and Lynnfield, MA, he lived in Tampa, FL. Doug was predeceased by his parents, Robert H. and Johanne T. Skelley of Sunapee, NH, and his son, Kurtis Robert of Avon, CT.
Doug graduated from Salem State College with a B.S. in Finance and earned an MBA at the University of Hartford. He had a long career as an investment consultant with various financial institutions.
He is survived by his sons, Derek M. and Dean L. Skelley of Boston, MA; his former wife, Lisa J. Ludwig of Old Saybrook, CT; his brothers Robert H. Skelley of Colchester CT, Kenneth R. Skelley of West Barnstable, MA, Steven C. Skelley of Lynnfield, MA; his sister Dianne E. Berner of East Haddam, CT; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at the Centre Congregational Church in Lynnfield, MA, 5 Summer Street, Lynnfield, Massachusetts, on December 18, 2021, at 10:00 am. The service will also be live streamed from the church’s website: http://www.centre-church.org/
