Brian Keith Klassen
10/13/1972 – 06/11/2023
Brian Keith Klassen also known as (Eggy), died at the age of 50, June 11, 2023, as he was riding his bike on Eiland Blvd in Zephyrhills FL when he was hit from behind by a car. We were told that he died instantly, and we found peace knowing he did not suffer. Brian was born in Dade City, FL on Friday, October 13, 1972. Brian was a certified welder and loved to tinker and fix anything and everything he could. He loved the challenge of fixing items and at times even fixed items that were not broken. Brian was greeted as he crossed over by his beloved grandmother Wilma Sharp and by his birth father Steve Woods. Also waiting to greet him was his best friend when he was 7 years old. Suzie, I am sure, is the happiest dog in Heaven having her best buddy Brian by her side again. Brian is survived by his mother Gwen Sharp of Zephyrhills and his father Martin Joseph Klassen of Michigan. Brian is also survived by his wife of 10 years Kelly Klassen their daughter Clayre Elkins-Klassen of Crystal Springs, FL. Brian will be missed by his sons Hunter Jackson Klassen and Joshua Gayle Klassen of Ponchatoula Louisiana and their mother Christa Maggart from Ponchatoula Louisiana. Two stepdaughters Danielle Mosser of Houston TX and Felicity Bates of Brandon, FL, and 4 grandchildren. His siblings Timothy Merrill of Ferndale, MI. His sister Jessica Salvatore and her family from Anderson, SC, and his sister Kelly Woods from Grand Rapids, MI.
Our family is quite large, and we would love to list everyone. Brian had many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends who I am sure will miss him.
Three very special friends Tina Elliott, Kevin Debyah, and Wayne Allen of Zephyrhills will miss him a great deal.
Now is the time to remember all the good deeds he did. He cared about people, family, friends, and even strangers, always helping in any way he could.
We will be celebrating his life at Zephyr Park in Zephyrhills on Saturday, July 8th at approximately 5 PM
