Audrey Drucilla Kersting Giesking, beloved mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on June 17, 2024, in Tampa, Florida. Born on March 15, 1957, in San Diego, California, Audrey lived a life full of love, kindness, and dedication.
Audrey was a beacon of warmth and generosity to all who knew her. Her passion for art and scrapbooking was evident in everything she did. She was a beloved member of her local scrapbooking community, where she shared her creativity and joy with many.
She dedicated over thirty years to a fulfilling career as a payroll clerk for Hillsborough County Schools. Her colleagues remember her as a dedicated professional with an unwavering commitment to excellence and a supportive team member.
Family was the center of Audrey's world. She is survived by her son, Michael Edward Giesking, and daughter, Vanessa Marie Giesking. Audrey cherished every moment spent with her family, creating countless memories that will be treasured forever. Her favorite role in life was being a grandmother to her three grandchildren and her great-niece. She is also survived by her sisters, Carol Kersting and Joni Thomas. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Rebecca Kersting.
Audrey was deeply involved in her community, contributing her time and efforts to various activities and organizations, including the Reflections Committee and the PTA. Her selfless dedication and compassionate nature left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
A memorial service to celebrate Audrey's life will be held
July 13, 2024 at 3:00pm at 29344 Bayhead Rd. in Dade City, Florida.
