Carl Harlan Will, 64, of Tampa, FL, unexpectedly passed away on March 5th, 2026 at Mease Countryside Hospital.
Carl was born on November 19th, 1961 in Warner Robins, GA to Lamar and Anne Will. He was a proud graduate of Chamberlain Senior High School’s Class of 1979. He went on to earn his AA in Computer Engineering from Tampa College in 1981. Carl would go on to work at companies like IBM, CommerceQuest, Computer Associates, Madison Consulting International, and Oracle holding several high level sales and consulting titles. Carl was known professionally for being a mentor, team leader, overachiever, and someone people wanted to work with.
Carl enjoyed playing and watching all sports – especially FSU, going to concerts and listening to music (especially classic rock), traveling, and creating memories with his family and friends. He was especially known for being on his boat while living on Lake Carroll. He will be remembered for his over-the-top personality and ability to light up any room.
He is survived by his life partner Kim Ortoll, his ex-wife Lisa Bonfadini, his children Zachary Will, Megan Capobianco, Seth Bonfadini, and Rachel Will, his grandson Matthew Capobianco, future granddaughter Madison Capobianco and his siblings Gloria Doster, David Will, and Diane Koulogianes. He was preceded in death by his parents Lamar and Anne Will, along with his daughter Madison Will.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, March 27th at 11:00am at
Lake Magdalene Methodist Church (2902 W Fletcher Ave, Tampa, FL 33618)
followed immediately by a reception at
Senor Tequila’s Mexican Grill (11115 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33618).
